The private onsen was incredibly soothing and well-maintained.

We were frustrated by the lack of clear instructions upon arrival. The check-in process felt rushed, and our time in the common dining area instead of our room left us feeling exposed. Additionally, the bed was not very comfortable, which made it difficult to relax and enjoy our stay.

My stay at Ryokan Sennari was wonderful. The room was spacious, featuring a lovely view of the serene garden, which added tranquility. I especially enjoyed the kaiseki dinner, highlighting an exquisite fusion of flavors. Private onsens offered a perfect way to relax after exploring Beppu.

I had a simply perfect stay with easy access to nearby landmarks like Beppu Tower and Matogahama Park, which made my weekend city strolls absolutely delightful. the ryokan is also beautifully serene, with a lovely garden view that felt like a peaceful retreat in the busy city.

Family with children perfect getaway

Had a lovely time at this place, especially enjoying the three private onsens. It was such a relief to have a peaceful stay where my kids could soak in the onsen without worrying about strangers around, really made the experience special.

Not exactly cheap, but worth it for the experience we had.

had to carry my luggage up to the second floor but the room was spacious with a lovely garden view 🌸. enjoyed the three private onsen baths and the delicious breakfast with fresh sashimi 😋. would love to come back!

The room was spacious and had a lovely garden view. The futons were super comfy with extra mattress pads, which was great for us not used to traditional sleeping. I loved the enclosed terrace where I could chill out. On a chilly March day, the room stayed warm without needing a heater. The indoor and outdoor baths were perfect for relaxing, and I had no trouble reserving my time. Plus, breakfast was a feast!

Spacious room with a stunning garden view , the indoor baths were perfect for relaxing. The staff was extremely accommodating and friendly. Breakfast was plentiful , featuring fresh sashimi and A5 wagyu.

Some guests did not observe onsen etiquette , causing a bit of disturbance.
